My first consultation with Mr Moawad was amazing because I felt a warm connection between us straight away. I felt at ease, safe and in good hands. I came away happy and content.
Mr Moawad treated me with interest and dedication. Before the operation, he explained the procedure. Bits I didn't understand he clarified.
I was pleased each time I met him. Any concerns in the future, I shall not hesitate to make an appointment.
Siobham, was always so friendly. She got back to me every time I left a message. A very pleasant lady.

My experience with Dr Moawad was second to none. I had a hernia operation and found my experience as enjoyable as this type of experience could be. Dr Moawad inspired confidence and I felt comfortable going under his knife. I would also like to thank the support team (pre-op and post) during my visit to St. Peter hospital. The entire team were great! I felt comfortable, relaxed and well looked after during every stage of the process.

I found Mr moawad exceptionally helpful and he explained everything that he was going to carry out on a very difficult leg operation he also put me at ease as much as he could and I found Mr moawad friendly and he listened to my fears about the operation which is unusual for a surgeon and he is a fine surgeon at that and I would highly recommend Mr moawad to anyone that is facing a vascular problem cause I can say I was a very worried patient and could have been looking at possibly losing my left leg I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr moawad for a very well done operation and I will look forward to seeing him in December 2016

I am very happy with the results of my vascular surgery. All the pain and itchiness has gone and it's been so good that I had almost forgotten I ever had problems. Although I had to wait all day for the surgery as I was one of the last on the list the post surgery care has been good and I was seen quickly at all other appointments. The surgeon had been very kind, informative and approachable. A brilliant service on the NHS.

Mr. Moawad has advanced training in vascular and endovascular surgery and has worked in many eminent Regional Vascular and Endovascular Units such as St Thomas’, St George’s and Royal Free Hospitals in London. This has enhanced his skills and has allowed him to become familiar with different and diverse surgical practices.

Research:
Mr Moawad continuously supports the clinical research and encourages his team to write papers. He also supports his colleagues in the design and analysis of their research.
Magdy is very skilled and confident in database writing, management and understanding of its use in clinical practice. This enabled him to share in the development of information and decision support systems in the NHS.
He devised many database applications that helped in audit and research projects for his colleagues and himself.
Personal interests:
Magdy plays the lute and violin and plays music to raise money for charitable and various other events. His most recent performances were in London, Paris and Sweden.
He was a guest of honor at the BBC world service in April 2013. He played and discussed the relation between music and medicine. This interview lasted one hour.
